some photographs of our work
Spencer's Fixed Gear
I built this frame, uh, maybe a year ago, and finally got it together recently. This weekend I took a trip into NYC (part business, part pleasure) and on the way back home I took some photos of the bike. So anyway, I want to thank the Long Island Railroad for the set of these photos. Shooting the bike here was cheaper, and honestly provided a more interesting color palate than any solid-color backdrop would.
PJT's Road Trainer
This bike was built to be ridden on a training loop year round. It has a mix of high-end Campagnolo components, a Columbus steel/carbon frame, and an Easton carbon fork. Paint by Keith Anderson.
Street Fixed 52cm
This frame is one of a short production run I finished recently. You may see me on one of the 56cm versions; this frame is still looking for a home (you can contact me for more information).
Chad's Do-It-All Bike
Chad wanted a bike that he could ride in all sorts of conditions, on and off road, in sunshine or snow. The setup shown here includes White Industries cranks, a Phil Wood hubset, Paul brakes, and original Dirt Drop handlebars. You can see more of the bike and read Chad's feedback on it at Chad's blog, offroadfixed.wordpress.com/.
Sam's Street Fixie
Sam's fixie was the last of a set that I built. His bike was built up with a Sugino 75 crankset, Phil Wood/Velocity wheels, a King headset, a Thomson seatpost, and a beautiful matte lavender powder coat.
Lianna's Longtail Cruiser
Lianna wanted a bike that she could offer to carry a friend around on, and that's what she got. It has a very long rear end with a passenger platform complete with footrests on the chainstays. It has a SRAM 3-speed hub with a coaster brake and a generator front hub that powers a light on the fork.
Oliver's Singlespeed
This bike is designed as a fun, easy bike to ride around the streets of San Francisco. It has, most importantly, all black parts and a matte black powdercoat. Stealth.
Georgia's Commuter
This bike was designed for Georgia to commute back and forth to school on. It has a Campy drivetrain, Paul cantilever brakes, Brooks accoutrements, and a Tubus/Ortlieb rack and waterproof pannier system.
New Singlespeed
This bike was built up to my own specs and with one of my favorite build kits. It sports a custom powder coat job by Spectrum (those graphics are actually part of the powder coat), and was built with a combination of True Temper and Columbus tubing. I routed the rear brake cable internally in the toptube and built it up with Paul, White Industries, Thomson, Brooks, and other specialty components. I think it's stunning, and it's a lot of fun to ride.
